Impressive Amsterdam School Bar Cabinet by J.Th. Drilling, The Netherlands 1920s. This bar cabinet has two faceted glass doors, two round-shaped closed doors and two round-shaped drawers. On top of the cabinet is a large mirror with one small crack in it. The entire cabinet has handles in the shape of a bat. Also on top of the mirror there is a large decoration of a bat. The keys are also signed J.Th.Drilling Amsterdam.
The Drilling furniture factory was situated on the Rozengracht in Amsterdam from 1917. An interior as depicted on the picture from the book costed about 600 guilders.
