Pair of Leather Armchairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara for La Permanente Cantu from Finland 1950s. The structure of the chairs is in wood in leather straps with upholstered seats and backrests. These have minor restorations and replacements, however we think it has an overall beautiful patina. The wooden frame has brass details. The shape of the structure is very interesting with great craftmanship on the woodwork.
The chairs are in good condition with some elements already replaced with new leather, this causes some coloring differences on the straps versus the seats.
