Special and rare set of four dining chairs from the 'La Sterne' series by the French sculptor Polyte Solet from the 2000s. An adventurer from the very beginning, he has spent more than twenty years in the channels of Patagonia. His artistic inspiration, therefore, comes from his world travels at sea.
Solet selects its wood from the forests of the great south of Chile and is part of a forest management program. The technical possibilities of laminated wood are fully expressed here. We see soft and clean lines and an amazing stiffness and sturdiness of the Persea Lingue wood. There is absolutely no mechanical assembly involved with these chairs as it concerns one block of wood. Each wooden strip is cut directly into the wood by hand. The main models, such as this particular series, are made of wooden strips glued together. And it is the stability of the wood and its sturdiness that provide great creative freedom.
These chairs are labeled under the seat with a brass plate with the name of the maker and the year in which they were manufactured. Truly dazzling chairs that are in beautiful condition. The signs of use are such as small scratches and smudges, which are completely consistent with the age and use of these special dining chairs. A lint-free cloth is all it takes to bring back the piece's original shine.

Table arrived very well crated, seller made process seamless.
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
Quality, flexibility, very good communication, very happy with the coffee table I bought.
