The illustrious company Barovier & Toso was one of the great leaders of a creative change in the second half of the nineteenth century in the Venetian glass industry. This industry had been a bit dormant in the previous two hundred years and there was no need for innovation. But the artistic path forward is always that of technical imagination. More than any other Venetian glassmaker, the Barovier family has the gift of “thinking in glass”, which has allowed them to create all kinds of new concepts.
Design
Look at this piece for instance. The technique used to make this beautiful timeless and highly decorative vase is called mugnoni. The Murano glass blower has created the so-called spines by blowing bubbles into the crystal with his mouth. A stunningly modern and pleasant-looking object is the result. The mouth of the vase is different in the sense that it is not closed, but the glass parts open, so to speak. Mere dynamics is created by the combination of an organic basic shape, the spines, and not to mention the pure crystal glass. Truly eye-catching and remarkable.
Condition
The vase is in perfect condition.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
Quality, flexibility, very good communication, very happy with the coffee table I bought.
I just received the absolutely gorgeous credenza yesterday. It was professionally packaged and delivered just as promised. I cannot more highly recommend AtKris Studio.
