The Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s was marked by a strong emphasis on clean lines and geometric shapes, and the streamline modern movement built on this by introducing a focus on aerodynamic curves and rounded forms. The result was a sleek and futuristic aesthetic that was both practical and visually striking. One beautiful example of a streamline modern piece is this side table manufactured by 't Woonhuys in Amsterdam. The table's smooth curves and rounded edges are emphasized by the use of a rich, dark mahogany veneer that is expertly placed to highlight the natural grain of the wood.
Design
At first glance, the table appears to be a simple, elegant design, but upon closer inspection, the intricate details become apparent. The top features a subtle but striking parquet pattern that draws the eye and adds depth to the piece. Its legs are similarly curved, with a slight taper towards the bottom that gives them a graceful, aerodynamic quality. The table has a timeless quality that would look just as at home in a modern interior as it would in a vintage-inspired space. Its sleek lines and warm wood tones would complement a variety of color schemes and furniture styles, making it a versatile and eye-catching addition to any room.
Condition
The condition is good but the table surely has some marks and traces gained throughout the years. This does not affect the striking appearance and character of this piece.

Excellent responsiveness, and with wonderful curatorial chops!
Quality, flexibility, very good communication, very happy with the coffee table I bought.
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
