Impressive large sideboard by Giuseppe Scapinelli, Angelini & Delneri from Brazil, the 1950s. This sideboard has a great design with partially organically worked out wood. The knobs on the doors are made of brass. The legs have an interesting and organic shape and the usage of this shape can be seen in many of his furniture. It has four doors with shelves and in the middle a door with four drawers behind it. The sideboard is in good condition with some wear and tear due to its age.

It is clearly marked with manufacturing labels and several excise stamps demonstrating the authenticity of this piece.

Giuseppe Scapinelli is a Brazilian Mid-Century Designer from São Paulo. He did not use any means of masss production and his furniture alternated and combined elements from Italian classicism, futuristic aerodynamic lines, and biomorphic shapes. He was a multi-artist en by incorporating drawings, paintings and sculptures in glass or ceramic, his work became greatly expressive.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
