This set of four dining room chairs is best characterized as a fairly minimal design in which almost only straight lines can be found, combined with the warmth of the wood and a caned seat. They have an Italian seventies groove, but at the same time they are made in a artisinal way.

Design

Looking at the frame, the side parts are rectangular and both the legs and armrests merge completely into each other. Everything is neatly connected by miter and we also see small box joint connections at the corners. A very solid construction that has proven its quality over the years, as there is no play to be found on the connections. The seat and backrest, the latter of which is placed at an angle, are attached to the rectangular parts with eight black Allen screws. All beautifully sunk into the wood.

The backrest consists of four bars that run all the way to the floor and just do not touch the seat. This adds to the dramatic effect when the chairs are placed at a table because you can see through the bars. The seats are fluted and are still completely in original and excellent condition.

Condition

This set is in very good condition. They possess the usual signs of wear, such as small scratches and slight discolorations of the wood and the cannage."

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
