This compact bench with a powerful appearance has been meticulously made. The design somewhat resembles the style of Ico and Luisa Parisi due to way the slats are placed and it’s proportion. The eccentric base stands out because of the pointed legs that seem to protrude into the floor and give the bench a sturdy appearance.

Design

A solid frame exists of several strong connections. The crossbeam that runs under the seating area is attached to the elegantly designed short beams on both sides with a bolt. Wooden parts that support the slats are sunk into the legs with a so-called tongue and groove connection. These are then also secured with a bolt.

The seat consists of eight slats that form a stretched trapezium shape. These are further supported in the middle by a beam clamped between them. Solid meranti was used for this bench and has acquired a deep dark brown patina over the years.

Condition
The condition is good with minimal traces of use such as scratches and color differences.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end

I recently bought some amazing Artwork from AtKris Studio online. The whole experience was amazing. The transaction was amazingly efficient. The crating and shipping of the artwork to the United States from the Netherlands could not have gone smoother and the customer service was spot on!!  Krista was amazing and I highly recommend AtKris Studio!
