Between Heavy and Light- a Dialogue of Contrasts: In the work of Studio Bovti, opposites do not contradict each other – they complement one another. Paper becomes structure, stone becomes movement.

What is normally considered fragile carries the heavy; the permanent rests upon the transient. With Cartapesta, Studio Bovti continues its exploration of material contrasts and perceptions of weight.

Each piece is a dialogue between resistance and softness – between the raw power of natural stone and the tactile delicacy of papier-mâché. An invitation to reconsider balance – between what endures and what transforms.

Inspired by natural erosion, the organic lines reflect the idea that gentle, flowing forces can gradually shape even the hardest materials – true to the proverb „constant dripping wears away the stone.“

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
