Albano Poli's lamps that he made for his company Poliarte all have a high degree of timelessness. When a design object mainly exists of glass, it will often mislead the viewer when it comes to estimating its age.

Design

As is also the case with this model called “Lembo”. It has withstood the test in such a way that it is in no way inferior to contemporary design. That is often the intrinsic quality of good mid-century design. It transcends fads and remains lovable.

Beautifully hand-blown Murano glass are divided in three segments of sixteen beams that create a cube shape. Each glass beam differs slightly from the other and is opaque. An irregularity of texture is therefore beautifully visible and retains a degree of elegance. The top row is removable, after which the light source becomes visible in the middle of the lamp. It is a desirable regardless whether the lamp is lot or not.

Condition

The lamp has been restored in our atelier and is in very good condition. Small deviations in the material are original and intentional and contribute to the charm of this artisanal item.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
