Rare Art Deco Armchair by Luigi Carlo Daneri from Italy 1933. This chair in walnut and bent plywood has an exceptional design with a metal tube to reinforce the arm rests. Provenance: the chair comes from a private collection

Exhibition: This chair was part of the original furniture of the study of the steel-structure house by Luigi Vietti and Luigi Carlo Danerli, created for the Mostra dell'abitazione at the V Triennale di Milano, 1933

Publications: Catalogo ufficiale della V Triennale, a cura di A. Pica, Milano 1933 - page 225,669,673 and 749

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
