Design
The console features a smoked black glass top, gently curved at the corners, which rests on a wooden structure. The dark finish of the wood contrasts beautifully with the warm tones of the finely carved decorative edge, running continuously along the front apron and down the tapered legs. A combination of rosewood veneer and most probably maple decoration.
This carved detailing, rhythmic and precise, is characteristic of Paolo Buffa's refined approach to ornamentation—discreet yet confident. Tapered legs add to the lightness of the silhouette, while the wall-mounted structure ensures a clean and minimal footprint. The console's proportions are narrow and elongated, making it well-suited for hallways or behind sofas. From the profile, the gentle curvature of the edges reveals subtle craftsmanship. Every angle shows thoughtful construction, from the recessed support brackets to the well-balanced stance of the legs.
A refined expression of Italian modernism, the console unites decorative subtlety with clear architectural logic.
Condition
This piece is in good vintage condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use, including slight surface signs on the glass top, does not detract from its overall appearance.
I recently bought some amazing Artwork from AtKris Studio online. The whole experience was amazing. The transaction was amazingly efficient. The crating and shipping of the artwork to the United States from the Netherlands could not have gone smoother and the customer service was spot on!! Krista was amazing and I highly recommend AtKris Studio!
I just received the absolutely gorgeous credenza yesterday. It was professionally packaged and delivered just as promised. I cannot more highly recommend AtKris Studio.
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
