A clear example of precise woodworking. This large table by Officina Rivadossi showcases the workshop’s dedication to craftsmanship and straightforward construction. Built with a focus on material and method, it reflects an honest and structured approach to design.

Design

The table is constructed entirely from oak and features a rectangular top composed of end-grain wood blocks, giving the surface a subtle and consistent texture. Four thick, square legs sit flush with the tabletop corners, joined using Rivadossi’s signature carved detailing. The interlocking wooden elements at each corner are not only structural but visually define the piece. These connections, repeated rhythmically, highlight the maker’s emphasis on craftsmanship over embellishment. The overall silhouette remains minimal, with no unnecessary additions—just well-executed woodworking. Its proportions are generous but practical, and the warm tone of the oak enhances the sense of material clarity. The brand stamp, subtly marked on one leg, ties the design back to its Italian origin without competing for attention.

This table is straightforward and grounded. It speaks through its joinery and choice of materials rather than through form or decoration.

Condition

Condition is very good, with light wear consistent with age and careful use. The wood shows natural variations in tone and grain, and all joints remain solid and original.

Please note that we have 8 matching arm chairs for this table made by Officina Rivadossi (you see six in the picture). They do need restoration so please let us know if you require more information.

Customer Reviews

"

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
