A symmetrical but playful leg that also has refined detailing through old-fashioned wood connections. The oak wood has acquired a deep patina over the years and its grains form a diffuse pattern.

The round top is of course the most striking thing about this item. The star shape that you often see on tables from the Amsterdam School period consists of eight parts of veneer and the outer parts are veneered with luxurious ebony. A veneered ebony ring decorates the side of the top and makes up for a beautiful contrast with the oak parts.

The condition of this side table is very good with only minimal signs of wear that are entirely in accordance with its age."
