Design

The round top presents a warm radial walnut veneer, arranged to emphasise the centre and guide the eye outward. Its edge is softly bevelled, giving a light visual profile despite the generous diameter. The table is covered with a glass top to protect the wood.

Beneath, the sculptural base draws immediate attention. Multiple tapered legs emerge from a central carved node, each slightly curved and faceted, creating a sense of rhythm when viewed from different angles. This construction recalls the biomorphic language associated with mid-century Italian design, where structure and ornament merge. The open sections within the base reduce visual weight while maintaining stability, a solution often seen in the work attributed to Ico Parisi, who favoured elegant engineering paired with fluid silhouettes.
