A refined play of glass, contour and light, this set of four LT 276 wall lamps brings together the tactile language of Murano glass and the measured clarity of Italian modernism. Conceived by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, the model has a sculptural calm that shifts from softly opaque to almost fluid in appearance.

Design

Each lamp is composed of a cast glass shade in crystal and sand tones, mounted on an aluminium frame with two E14 fittings behind. Rather than relying on ornament, Nason used the material itself to create movement. The glass bends outward in a gentle wave, with a frosted surface that diffuses the light and a clearer edge that adds depth and definition. Seen illuminated, the lamps cast a broad, warm glow across the wall, turning the surrounding surface into part of the composition.

Carlo Nason is known for treating glass as both structure and atmosphere, and that approach is present here in the balance between mass and transparency. Mazzega’s production brings the assurance of Murano glassmaking to the design, giving the model its distinct presence. Used individually, each lamp reads as a quiet sculptural element; arranged in a row or connected modularly, the set introduces a more architectural rhythm suited to hallways, bedrooms or pared-back living spaces.

This is a considered lighting design where material, light and proportion meet with clarity. More than a wall lamp, it functions as a modular glass object with a calm yet defined presence. The lamps can both be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Condition‍

The set is in very good condition with almost no signs of wear. Glass and aluminium elements remain clean and well preserved, with only minimal traces consistent with careful use.
