When you talk about wall appliques made from Murano in the 1960s and 1970s, it is impossible to ignore Carlo Nason. He was the sole designer at the manufacturer Mazzega for decades and created a strong and recognizable style that is very popular today.
Design
The special thing about his designs is that they are both funky and chic. Of course, Murano glass inherently contains a kind of class and beauty that without even molded into a certain shape already attracts the eye. The shapes and composition and, as in this case, combined with another material creates an attractive dynamic. For the design of these appliques, four rectangular Murano glass parts were blown, each with a square recess that extends from the center. These parts are slid onto a metal wall plate, in this case the fixture. Four spacers are placed between each part and the plate, the diffuser, made of brushed aluminum is slid onto the spacers. A beautiful light is the end result and oozes warmth.
Condition
The lamps are in excellent condition with only some minor weathering on the fixture.

Excellent responsiveness, and with wonderful curatorial chops!
I recently bought some amazing Artwork from AtKris Studio online. The whole experience was amazing. The transaction was amazingly efficient. The crating and shipping of the artwork to the United States from the Netherlands could not have gone smoother and the customer service was spot on!! Krista was amazing and I highly recommend AtKris Studio!
This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
