Extendable boat-shaped dining table in palissander wood. This elegant dining room table is a refined example of Danish craftsmanship and both the design and construction have stood the test of time.

Design

The table can be extended by simply extending leaves with fold-out leaves underneath. These are neatly mounted on the frame. The legs are bent slightly more inwards from the base and then move upwards in a subtle movement. Where the legs merge, as it were, with the rail under the table edge, a beautiful gradient has been applied in the form of a curve. The transition from the rail to the legs is therefore gentle. The entire table is veneered with palissander veneer that shows a deep golden glow. Lines under the table edge show a different type of motif with a different grain pattern and texture.

Condition
This table has been completely restored in our studio, retaining the patina and small characteristic imperfections.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
