Italian round coffee table in veneered plywood with glass top from the 1960s. Where do we start when describing this beautiful coffee table?
The organic shapes and the lines that sway up and down give this item a very groovy look. All attention therefore goes to the frame, which in its entirety provides a shadow play and attractive dynamics. Its three diamond-shaped openings provide vistas through which the light shines beautifully. They also have an actual practical function because they carry the round glass top. This blade does not rest directly on the frame, but lies neatly on transparent bumpers.
This table is very carefully and skillfully veneered with teak and beautifully varnished. It is with good reason that the patina can be called special.
Regarding the condition of this table, we can say that the frame has a few light chips and scratches but is otherwise entirely consistent with the age and use of this table.
